Finally the ‘3 Idiots’ made their entry in a very grand way yesterday at Imax Wadala. The team welcomed the industry’s biggies with big smiles and warm hugs. There were special guests too like those humble commoners whom Aamir met on his promotional game journey across the country.

Director Rajkumar and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra Hirani played the jovial hosts along with their star casts Aamir, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena. Then the sparkling personalities tumbled in. Of course the highlights were the other Khans who came in at different times. Kya Nazaara tha, we say… Aamir met SRK and Salman like bichhade hue saathi… The shutterbugs went frenzy over this rare congregation. But we wonder why the Bachchans were missing…?

Randhir Kapoor too was there by his daughter’s side, but occasionally we say. For we caught Bebo on Saifu’s arm several times, matching her hot red saree with that of his red Bandana… Aamir ka bhatija Imran Khan turned up with his fiancée Avantika while Aamir’s wife Kiran also graced the screening and posed with her hubby. Aamir had worn a hand woven fabric suit which was designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The actor took this event as a chance to show his support for the Chanderi weavers and promote the art of weaving.

Sanjay Dutt wished the film’s makers and it seem to bring him the nostalgia of their earlier Munnabhai teaming. Vidya Balan later completed the Munnabhai team later on then the lady caught up with her Ishqiya co-star Arshad Warsi who came in with his wife Maria Goretti.

Yash Chopra, Karan Johar, Tina Muni, Anil Kapoor, Javed Aktar, Dia Mirza, Sonu Nigam, Genelia D’souza, Manish Malhotra, Praoon Joshi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Adnan Sami and many others took the rest of the list.

Phew… Now let’s grab the popcorn tub and head to enjoy the film that entertained this large galaxy.
